Primera Air sets new passenger record

In June 2014 Primera Air set new passenger and travel record, the airline flew 134.000 passengers and flights in the month were 912 in total.  It´s an 11% increase from last year and this is the airline´s biggest month ever.  Furthermore, it´s clear that July will be even larger, but figures are not available yet.

The airline operates today 8 Boeing 737 aircrafts, which fly from Scandinavia and Iceland to 68 destinations.  The greatest numbers of passengers come from Denmark and Sweden.

Primera Air has one aircraft flying from Iceland, and will now again locate an aircraft in Iceland throughout the winter, for the first time after the collapse, but flight from Iceland has increased significantly over the last two years.  The main destinations from Iceland are Malaga, Alicante, Tenerife, Crete, Las Palmas and Almeria.
